Hello! My name is Roen Cloutier.
I was born in 2001 and was home-schooled most of my life by my family of artists.
A recent graduate of Fredonia, I am ready to hone my design and artistic skills in the field. I create prints of my own watercolor paintings for sale at art festivals in addition to illustrations for whoever needs them. I am familiar with Adobe Illustrator (for strong digital compositions), Photoshop (for print editing and color correction), and InDesign (for typography layout of documents), but will always prefer art direct to paper. Beauty in the broken, rusting metal, Sci-Fi landscapes, insects, and natural scenes are my main illustration subjects.
I got a great deal of inspiration from all art avenues. From animators such as Genndy Tartakovsky and Peter Chung, illustrators such as Stuart Sayger, Syd Mead and Mike Mignola, as well as poets such as Emily Dickenson and Edgar Allen Poe.
